Forbing and Shreveport Residents Promote Healthy Habits and Holiday Cheer

Individuals and groups in and around the Forbing vicinity have an invitation to run the three-loop course and get into the Christmas Spirit. This Sportspectrum tradition lets runners go past over ten thousand lights, decorations while listening to fun Christmas music. This year, the run established a partnership with Operation Santa Claus, a joint effort between the Shreveport fire and police departments to help the local community's children. Donations of toys get accepted during the turn-in of individual and group running packets on race day. The proceeds go to benefit children who otherwise may not get anything for Christmas. If you do not wish to donate a new toy, monetary donations are used to purchase gifts for the kids. 

• Registration is $25 pre-race and $40 on the 17th
• If there is a cancellation due to the pandemic, runners will receive 75% of their fee refunded
• Date of the Run: December 17th
• Time: 7:00 pm at the Sportspectrum
